Rolling out with firmware version A136USQU2BVE9, Android 12 is currently available to carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy A13 5G. The new Android version brings a plethora of new features, improvements, and changes to the device. The Color Palette feature lets you customize the system-wide theme with unique colors based on your wallpaper. All UI elements take up the new colors. Android 12-based One UI 4.1 also lets you add background blur to any pictures with a human face....

As of this writing, the latest update for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 is rolling out to users in Switzerland. The rollout should expand to other European countries within a few days and eventually reach more markets across the world. The new firmware version for the tablet is T575XXU3CVD1. This update comes with the March 2022 Android security patch. It isn’t the latest available as the April SMR (security maintenance release) is already live for some Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones....

Messenger also does support end-to-end encrypted messaging, including voice and video calls. However, the feature is not available by default. Meaning, it doesn’t automatically work when you send a message or make a call. You have to manually opt for E2EE before sending reaching out to someone on Messenger. Instagram also offers end-to-end encrypted messaging to some users but it’s not on by default here as well. This is not the case with WhatsApp though....

This concerns two separate cases of theft. The first case involves a former employee taking photos of confidential information related to Samsung’s chip fabrication technology. They were still employed with the Korean firm when the theft took place. The person was in the process of moving their job to Intel and was working from home at that time. They took photos of a computer file containing critical semiconductor information and shared the photos with Intel once they joined the American chipmaker....
